The 2010 Annual Vasavi Picnic
The Picnic was held in Van Saun County Park 216 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652. It was attended by more than 90 members.
The picnic started off with couple of minutes of silence, followed by prayer in memory of Late Sri. Lingaiah Gupta Veloor, father of committee member Nagendra Gupta Veloor.
It was followed by prayer to Vasavi Matha by Sri Bapanapalli garu.
The festivities started of with anthakshre competition between men and women under the guidance of Viswanath Narahari.
It was followed by musical chairs competition and quiz on Hindu mythology for kids.
After the lunch break, 'Skittles Challenge' competition was held for women, men and kids.
The games were concluded with Bingo.
The kids games were just great & well-participated by children of all ages.
The games were followed by self introduction of all the members.
Adults and Kids enjoyed the picnic alike. The facilities & amenities in the Park were really good & within reach. Sumptuous food & drinks were available.
Overall it became a memorable event.
